Amongst one latest group exhibition of paintings mention may be made of the one organized by an independent artists’ association, Kala Aayam at Jaypee Residency Manor, Mussourie. Inaugurated by the eminent literary figure Mr. Ruskin Bond, the event was attended by many artists and art lovers including Mr. William MacKay Aitken (Bill Aitken), the Scottish born Indian travel writer and mountain lover. One of the most appreciated works was Gyanendra Kumar’s ‘Thoughts in Ochre’, an abstract in acrylic on canvas. It drew attention of many.
